2018, Everyone is a hero is a movie on the devastating floods in Kerala in 2018. This movie primarily focuses on the stories of courage and valor during Kerala Floods 2018 shown by the common folk and people around. Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph the movie is a tribute to all those brave souls who risked their lives saving others. This movie by Jude, stars many exemplary actors like Kunjacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Asif Ali, Tanvi Ram Vineeth Srinivasan, Tovino Thomas. Made on a shoestring budget, but packed with superior VFX and exemplary production design, the movie has become a runaway success.

In this episode of the two-part conversation, we have profiled Shaurya Chakra and Nau Sena Gallantry Award winner Capt. Rajkumar and Nau Sena Medal Gallantry winner Cdr. Vijay Varma. they are in conversation with Jude Anthany Director of the movie 2018. Both are retired Indian Navy officers who were instrumental in rescuing several people in very intricate and risky operations in Kerala floods of 2018. The rescue of the pregnant lady in labour Sajitha Jabeel who later gave birth to a baby boy was carried out by by Cdr. Vijay Varma. Capt Rajkumar had helped rescue around 30 people at one go in a very risky mission. Both were very actively involved and had helped rescue more than 25 people in critical situations during Kerala Floods. They both were awarded Asian of the year by Singapore Straits Times.
