From punk rock kid to cop, Brian Sanders spent two decades developing courses to train officers, agents, and deputies on gang identification, investigations, and informants. He has worked on units from street level suppression teams to FBI Task Force as well as homicide unit as a detective then later as a homicide sergeant and lieutenant. He has encountered hundreds of gang members from Bloods, Crips, Surenos, Nortenos, Latin Kings, Gangster Disciples, Vice Lords, etc.
