Things Have Changed For Me

I think I always thought of myself as someone who tries to write songs, but I don't think I started writing songs till my son was born--or at least ones like this. It's off my first record, Arkansas Summer a speck of light on what is generally an album full of dark subjects. What this is is me singing in the Thorn Preserve behind my house. Kelly, camera person and muse, shot the whole thing while Angus demonstrated expert ninja moves. Berta, makes a heartbreaking cameo RIP sweet girl. Very high concept (wink). We of course went way over budget--as usual (wink again). What saved this little video is our friend Siobhan Dunne made it somehow work. If I ever wrote a "love song" I guess this would be it.
