Artist Talk: Elizabeth Englander and Eduardo Andres Alfonso

A conversation with artist Elizabeth Englander and Associate Curator Eduardo Andres Alfonso on the work and ideas behind Elizabeth Englander: Eminem Buddhism, Volume 3, the artist’s first museum exhibition. The talk explores the relationship between the contemporary materials forming the sculptures of deities and the deep history of iconography drawn from Englander’s study of Asian religious art.
