The GraviTower Bremen Prototype - Microgravity research made easy!

The Bremen Drop Tower is the worldwide authority in microgravity research and sets the international standard for experiment quality and duration. 30 years of experience and engineering know-how went into the new GraviTower Bremen Prototype. The space laboratory at ZARM is the urgently awaited addition to the Bremen drop tower.

The GraviTower is able to provide microgravity at a similar quality for 2.5 seconds for about a thousand times a day. A special feature of the GraviTower is its proximity to the experiment: the scientists can operate their experiments themselves and have the opportunity to access the experimental set-up after each experiment phase in order to make the necessary changes.
