Tofino is a small coastal town located on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada on the traditional land and waters of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation Peoples. The area is well known for it's beautiful sandy beaches, cold water surfing, and lush temperate rainforest. There is so much nature to explore and experience while spending time in Tofino, such as the mudflats, intertidal zone, and temperate rainforest. Join Rachael, The Nature Educator, on an exploration throughout these different ecosystems and learn some fun facts about each. When visiting Tofino, remember to leave no trace, stay on trails, and respect the incredible natural areas!
