TASSIE TALES: Arthurs Lake Trout Fishing Revival — It's Back & Booming!

In the 1980s, '90s and early 2000s, Arthurs Lake in the Tasmanian Central Highlands was the state's premier trout water. But its fishing fortunes declined rapidly following several years of low water levels. The good news is that Arthurs is now back and booming! In this episode of our Tassie Tales, we visit Arthurs with guide Nick May of The Highland Fly and enjoy some excellent loch-style fly action on Arthurs fighting-fit brown trout. We also take a look at the Inland Fisheries Service's excellent wild rainbow trout management program at nearby Great Lake.
