Jacob's Ladder Wild Camp // "The Hiking Bit" // A Visit to The Peak District

A 23 mile hike from Bamford by the Ladybower Reservoir, around the Derwent Valley, towards and across the A57 Snake Pass up and over and down into Edale and the ascent up Jacob's Ladder. At this point in the walk light was fading so made my mind up quickly to pitch down at the top of Jacob's Ladder; falling a little short of the final climb and push up to Kinder Scout. Maybe next time!
