Remembering Damu Anna

In this tribute to Baba's Ankitabhakta Damu Anna (Damodar Savalram Rasane), Pawar Kaka first tells viewers about his humble beginnings and subsequent rise to riches, then relates the leela of the mangoes. As viewers would know, it was only due to Baba's grace and blessing that Damu Anna went on to have four sons despite the predictions of astrological who declared that he would always be childless.

Pawar Kaka also recalls having met the eldest son i.e., Nanasaheb Rasane in Shirdi in his childhood. He continues to talk about Damu Anna's devotion and complete faith in Baba's words, and narrates anecdotes about how he was saved from financial loss, either through bad investment or a theft. Kaka also relates anecdotes that served to deepen Damu Anna's faith in his Sadguru, tells viewers about the Rasane temple and Damu Anna's role in the Ramnavami Day celebrations, a tradition followed till today.
