Starting a Solera | Blichmann BrewEasy | FoederSmith Foeder | EP22

Today I’m starting a solera project using a half barrel foeder made just for home brewers. If you haven’t heard this term before, solera is a method for aging things like vinegar, sherry, and beer where a blend of varying aged liquids is created in a barrel before the aging process is complete.

But before I can start this long-term project we need to make some beer!
