This walking tour was filmed on Saturday May 28th, 2022 starting at 12.17PM at Desaru Public Beach. Desaru beach is clean, lined with casuarina trees and stretch 17km long. Many returning visitors agree that its white sandy beach is a sight to behold and is hailed as one of the best beaches in Johor coast.

If you have time to spare, one of the main to-dos in Desaru is to take a stroll along the white sand on Desaru beach. The public beach faces the South China Sea, and is relatively clean and well maintained.Here, you can enjoy fun-filled activities such as fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, as well as other outdoor activities. Take the opportunity to relax or get that sexy tan while listening to rushing waves and enjoying the cool breeze.

It’s quiet and peaceful at this beach since swimming is not advisable due to strong waves. There are no lifeguards here too so mind your kids!

In the vicinity there are a lot of mid to high end resorts and properties. Like most of the coastal destinations in Malaysia, Desaru Beach is highly seasonal. The monsoon season is between November and February which sees winds and rain – however there is still plenty of sunshine so you’ll still see plenty of visitors around during these months.

The most popular season to visit Desaru Beach though is from June to August – this is prime time for Desaru Beach activities. However to avoid the busiest times April and May, or September and October are ideal times to visit.
