Visor.PH's Editor-in-Chief Vernon Sarne says some motorists are calling the No-Contact Traffic Apprehension Policy a "money-making venture."

"Yung readers namin, most of them, they say na 'yung traffic light daw pinapatay 'yung mga timer doon sa traffic light. Dati, they found that timer to be really useful, ngayon, nakapatay na siya parang the thing is, naging entrapment yung stoplight," Sarne explains.

The No-Contact Apprehension scheme was first implemented in July in Quezon City, which recorded thousands of traffic violations. The NCAP will also be implemented in San Juan this month.

Although Sarne clarifies that he is for NCAP, he says there should be a balance with the policy and it should not just aim to arrest motorists.
