The Shotgun or Grudge-Raker is arguably the best choice for the highest DPS for the Ranger Veteran class. Very good for slaughtering hordes but made PERFECT with the right talents and equipment.

Because you will be reloading many times it works perfectly with the Ultimate cooldown on reload + free Bomb talents, allowing for many ults and many free bombs.

Use a strength potion to ignore enemy Armor with the Grudge-Raker and make short work of multiple chaos warriors.

Temporal Health is very easy to gain using the simple Grudge-Raker "bash".
