Game 2 between KT Flash and Innovation in a best of three from the korean tournament of WCS qualifiers, a top level SC2 HOTS tournament. Game one was a cheese on cheese but this game involves both players opening macro in this Starcraft 2 replay. With a macro opening, SC2 flash attempts to stall out innovation with a pressure on the command center.

Both players do move into faster tech after command center, innovation goes for a much faster tech to hellbat drops. At this point in SC2 HOTS, the nerf hadn't happened to the hellbats yet, so TvT was a massive hellbat fast. Because of the tech paths, KT Flash is further behind in defending and retaliating with hellbats, and innovation gets up a better defence even behind in economy.

SC2 Flash attempts to move out and pressure the front, but with only hellbats, hellions and vikings, it's very tough to do damage to buildings. Innovation dodges around the viking defence from his pro korean opponent in this WCS tournament, and does amazing damage to the economy of flash. As the blue terran presses across the map with tanks, there is almost no chance to stop with only light units.

This game came down to Innovation applying great pressure and dealing critical drop damage with his hellbats, something Flash even with his amazing starcraft 2 skills couldn't recover from. A great korean tournament replay for SC2 HOTS, check out my channel for more great replays by SeKo Starcraft.
