I used a glitch to unlock cars that you don't have to unlock DeeWee, and used DeeWee's speed and floatation abilities to cross a gap in Volcano. Otherwise, I wouldn't have enough energy to reach State Z. I didn't show this in the video, but if you reach State Z you will unlock the car in Volcano. You can mess with this glitch in Interstate Drifter 2000 Early Access 0.5
