Filming Operation Mincemeat at the National Trust’s Fenton House

Описание к видео Filming Operation Mincemeat at the National Trust’s Fenton House

Fenton House in Hampstead, London plays host to the stars of the major new film Operation Mincemeat, directed by John Madden. Actors Jason Isaacs and Johnny Flynn tell us how this 17th-century home came to be used as a filming location for a gripping story about how two intelligence officers (played by Colin Firth and Matthew MacFadyen) created the most improbable disinformation strategy of the Second World War. Discover how Fenton House manages to double for parts of 10 Downing Street (including its world-famous rose garden) and also the home of one of the film's heroes.
Filming at National Trust places helps provide our charity with income which we use to keep those houses, gardens and landscapes in good condition for everyone to visit and enjoy.
