On The Trail – Ryan Huston Quartet

Song Description:
Inspired by Joe Henderson's version, this arrangement of Ferde Grofé's On The Trail from the Grand Canyon Suite combines classical themes with modern jazz improvisation and dynamic interplay.

Recital Description:
This performance is part of my junior recital held on December 6th, 2024, at Montclair State University's John J. Cali School of Music. The recital featured a collection of jazz standards and explored different facets of the repertoire I've studied during my time at Montclair.
