Try this Tire Pull exercise to Improve your Stance in Cross Country Skiing

Описание к видео Try this Tire Pull exercise to Improve your Stance in Cross Country Skiing

One of the big problem areas for many beginner and intermediate skiers is being able to adopt a flexed stance with weight on the ball of the foot. Often skiers will develop this stance initially but then when they pick up abit of speed they move their weight to their heels and they stand taller with a straight back. This is true if they are going down a hill or learning to stride or skate. Doing this tire pull exercise in the fall before the cross country ski season however will force you to flex and get on to the ball of your foot to pull the tire down the road. By doing this for 15 or 30 minutes will give you a good work out and force you into this athletic stance. If you do this many times in the fall hopefully you will remember this stance when you get on the snow and start cross country skiing. Try it out and let me know what you think- contact [email protected]
