This Saturday, an asteroid that's nearly three times bigger of the one which struck Chelyabinsk in 2013, will pass Earth at half the distance of the moon.

Fortunately, the asteroid called 2023 DZ2 is going to make a clean pass by our home planet at a speed of 28,044 km/h.
When viewed through the lens of a telescope from the Northern Hemisphere, the asteroid will appear as a slow-moving star over the south east horizon, east of the constellations of Orion.
