processes of which the building
blocks of life
are formed

it soon becomes a matter
of the geology of architecture
and settlement
from those now
to those long before
hauntings from the past
delineating distant futures

There are any number who resent the artist, Xerado, resulting from an envy of one who is consistently incredibly imaginative and so intensely creative. Be that as it may, Xerado remains undaunted, undiminished in his extensive explorations.

Seemingly, Xerado lives in an era in which tripe and mundanity runs rampant, vapid chatterboxes are considered celebrities, criminals are lionized, and losers remain some of society's highest paid. It is startling that professional athletes, even bench-warmers, are paid millions of dollars annually, yet at the end of the season the huge majority have lost enough games to embarrass entire cities or demoralize schools and students. Televised entertainment is replete with foolishness and bad behavior, or phony cut-throat competitions. In many cases, once illustrious careers have sunk to doing commercials and product pitches. Greed has become a primary virtue.

In stark contrast, human creativity, as found in the sublime oasis of the high arts, is never a losing proposition, rather a celebration of the apex of human achievement.

Xerado is a painter and poet, a sculptor, jeweler, lapidary, musician and composer, a filmmaker, and a maestro of various other media. Magister Xerado is truly a mystical visionary of the highest accord, an urban shaman, a counterpoint to the profane."
