Having finished fourth last year, Blaze Dolphins are aiming to get back to the top of the table this season. Led by National Captain Lin Qingyi Micky, the Dolphins fought a strong battle against Mission Mannas for the win today. Coming to a tie at the end of the first quarter (9-­9), the Dolphins’ good defence and smooth passing led to a good lead by half time. They continued with the momentum and led throughout the second half, winning the match with a score of 33‐44.

“It’s the first match of the season and for us it’s a lot of settling the team into the game, which I’m sure is what many of the teams felt today too. We managed to settle in earlier than Mannas this time, and the team that can adjust to that quickly will usually take the win,” said Lin Qingyi Micky, captain of Blaze Dolphins.
