After more than two years away we are delighted to welcome you back to the Airline & Aerospace MRO & Flight Operations IT Conference – AMERICAS, once again taking place in Miami, FL, USA.

Since we have been away, the Covid-19 crisis has changed aviation. Over the 10 years, we have been hosting this IT conference, much of the talk has been about the benefits of digitization with integrated and enhanced IT platforms for airlines, aircraft operators, and MROs, but adoption of these technologies has been slow. However, Covid-19 has brought about a noticeable change in priorities; IT is now recognized as the heart of any modern airline, and the key enabler for recovery and prosperity going forwards.

As if Covid-19 were not enough of a challenge, the terrible events in Ukraine, and the knock-on global effect of rising fuel prices and increased cost of living, have highlighted that it is even more important that airlines and MROs have the best modern IT solutions in use to ensure that they are able to be as agile, flexible and fast as possible to cope with whatever instability or changes might occur in the future.

With IT now front and center for airline and MRO infrastructure, the 2022 Aircraft Commerce series of MRO & Flight Ops IT conferences is, without doubt, our most important ever, with the exhibition space for the leading software and hardware vendors showcasing their latest solutions quickly selling out (record number of exhibitors in Miami!). Following a hugely successful EMEA region event in London at the beginning of June (click on the Videos / Photos tab above), we are bringing the event back to the AMERICAS region in Miami in September, and then to the APAC region and Bangkok in October (click here for that event).

The event offers unprecedented opportunities for airlines and MROs to meet vendors, discuss their own challenges and priorities, and see demos of the latest and leading software solutions. Airlines and MROs who have already taken the first steps to post-Covid recovery and digitization with new and modern IT solutions will be sharing their experiences in the conference agenda, plus there will be an established line-up of industry experts, vendor showcases, workshops, and more to help you unravel and understand this brave new post-Covid world and the opportunities available to airlines and MROs that embrace an IT driven future.

Mark is passionate about Aviation, Digital, and Helping people. He is the founder of #DigitalAircraft and has almost 40 years of experience in the Aviation/Aerospace Industry, working hands-on with OEMs, Airlines, and MROs in Operations, Engineering, Maintenance Training, and Shop and Engine Operations.

Over his career, Mark has transitioned from being a consumer and user of IT Solutions to being a digital solutions provider. He leveraged his industry knowledge in starting and operating Aviation software companies and implementing digital solutions at over 250 Aviation and Aerospace companies.

Mark holds FAA A&P and Commercial Instrument Multiengine Pilot Certificates. He completed his undergraduate studies in Engineering at Purdue University before going on to complete his MBA at the University of Denver.
