One of the most barbaric crimes that our nation, India is entangled into is ‘Human Trafficking’. It is not a single person’s job but there are interconnected rackets that is spread into every corners of the country where young girls are kidnapped and sold to do prostitution.

Our today’s Talk is a story of bravery and courage where or speaker not only fought back against the heinous crime of Human Trafficking but also put the criminals behind bars.
Rahima was 10 years old. One day on her way back from school she was forcibly kidnapped and by few men who beat her up mercilessly and later sold her to a brothel in Pune, for a sum of 1 Lac rupees where she was forced into prostitution and other immense physical and mental torture. On denial she was beaten to the extent that she decided on committing suicide. She was trapped there for more than 5 years, when one day she was rescued by one of her customers who took pity and sympathized with her.

On returning back home, Rahima did not remain silent but decided to fight back against her traffickers. Today through this talk she will narrate her story of fighting back.

দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার বাসন্তিতে জন্ম এবং বেড়ে ওঠা রহিমা খানের। তাঁর বয়স যখন মাত্র ১৩ বছর তখন মানব পাচারকারীদের খপ্পরে পড়ে মহারাষ্ট্রের পুণেতে এক নিষিদ্ধ এলাকায় বিক্রি হয়ে যান রহিমা। ক্রমশ তাঁকে দেহ ব‍্যবসার কাজে লাগানো হয়। দিনের পর দিন জোর করে বাধ‍্য করা হয় এই কাজ করতে। রীতিমত মারধোর, শারীরিক এবং মানসিক অত‍্যাচার করা হত তাঁর ওপর। নিদারুণ কষ্টে রহিমা দু-দু'বার আত্মহত‍্যা করার চেষ্টা করেন। কিন্তু সেখান থেকেও তাঁকে জোর করে টেনে এনে জোর করে বেশ‍্যাবৃত্তি করতে বাধ‍্য করা হয়। প্রতিবাদ করলে নির্মম অত‍্যাচার করা হত। মারধোর, নগ্ন করে সিগারেটের ছ‍্যাঁকা দেওয়া হত। এই অমানুষিক যন্ত্রণায় তাঁর পাঁচ বছর কাটে। তারপর একসময় এক সহৃদয় 'কাস্টমার' এর সহায়তায় সেখান থেকে বেরিয়ে আসতে সফল হন রহিমা। আজ তিনি তাঁর জীবনের অন্ধকার এনে দেওয়া সেই পাচারকারীদের কোর্টে এনে শাস্তি দিতে পেরেছেন। সুবিচার পেতে তিনি হাইকোর্ট পর্যন্ত লড়েছেন। অবশেষে জয় এসেছে। শাস্তি পেয়েছে দুস্কৃতিরা। রহিমার জীবনের যন্ত্রণাময় কাহিনী আজ জোশ Talks বাংলায়। আজ মহানবমী। দেবী দুর্গা আবাহনের এই শুভ সময়ে রহিমার জয়ের কথা, অন্ধকার থেকে আলোয় ফেরার গল্প পৌঁছে যাক সকলের কাছে। দেখে নিন ভিডিওটি।
