In the second lecture on Improper Integrals by Contour Integration we are going to learn about a theorem which we will use in solving improper integrals by the method of contour integration.While solving these improper integrals we will going to use the Cauchy Residue Theorem and we are also going to evaluate the residue at a particular point.
Also we see that while solving these integrals we select a contour which is a combination of semi circle and a line segment.
