BEST TACOS IN THE WORLD are here in Saigon?!

I eat some delicious tacos at a small street food restaurant in District 1, Saigon, Vietnam. I’ve had some amazing tacos in my lifetime, both in Southern California and all throughout Mexico. These tacos took me right back to those memories of eating some of the best tacos in the world, and they are certainly the best tacos I’ve ever had in Vietnam.

I came to this restaurant on a Tuesday night as I had passed by one day and they told me they have a Taco Tuesday special where they sell all of their tacos for only 35k vnd ($1.57) each. I asked the employee at the restaurant which tacos were the best, and I proceeded to order a pork belly taco, a beef brisket taco, a carne asada taco, and chipotle chicken taco.

The tacos were served with delicious salsas, including a spicy habanero salsa and a more mild chili verde salsa. They were also served with some fresh guacamole and diced tomatoes.

These tacos were absolutely exceptional. I had to order an extra three tacos because four wasn’t enough. The meat was tender, melt in your mouth, and cooked to perfection. The corn tortillas were fresh and authentic. The salsas and guacamole added a perfect dash of spiciness and cool avocado flavor. I happily devoured these tacos and gave you my signature Dank Rank food review.

The staff, especially Long, at this restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. Shout out to the staff and the owner of this restaurant for not only serving delicious food, but for the welcoming and inviting service as well.

In the end I had 7 tacos and a bottle of water for a total of 260k vnd or $10.92.

This street food taco shop is a very short walk from the popular Bui Vien Walking Street here in Ho Chi Minh City. Any foodies traveling to Vietnam and looking for a Western food option to add to your adventure should definitely check this place out!
