Killing Floor 2: Hell on Earth Miasma Solo Firebug w/Hans

Описание к видео Killing Floor 2: Hell on Earth Miasma Solo Firebug w/Hans

Firebug takes the spotlight this month on the custom map Miasma created by Motormouth. A prominent mapper in the Killing Floor community known for Ashwood Asylum and Power Core. In this run, I showcase the DLC weapon the Thermite Bore, HRG Scorcher and the reworked skill Inferno for Firebug. I tried a new perspective focusing on Hans for the intro. I based it off of the maps numerous assets at it's disposal to illustrate a story for this amazingly detailed map. I specifically turned off E.D.A.Rs and rage spawns for this run and substituted for increased spawning and more zeds. These changes made the map a much better gameplay experience to compensate for it's cramped corridors and small areas. I showcase a board range of Firebugs weapons and setups. Some practical and others not so much to demonstrate the sheer power of the games best trash clearer, the Firebug.

Miasma:
Miasma is a dynamic progression map done well that encourages different game tactics throughout the waves. The layout is familiar and easy to memorize with practical zed traps set in the map. Miasma brings back the grit, horror and atmosphere of the classic KF1 maps that I enjoyed. The vent spawns are the only intrusive aspect of the map especially in the first wave. The map is fast paced and functions well in solo or with a team. Overall, Miasma is a great map that I encourage anyone to try at least once.

Thermite Bore:
The Thermite Bore is a powerful tier 4 alternative defensive option for Firebug incinerating anything that walks in it's flames making it one of the best late game trash clearing weapons for the perk. While it excels extremely well with trash, it suffers with large zeds in team based gameplay as the rages could get your team wiped.

Scorcher:
The Scorcher is a powerful cheap eco friendly firebug weapon capable of locking down a narrow lane melting anything in it's way. It extends far into the late game for it's practical use and efficiency in trash clearing. Avoid using on large zeds!

Inferno Rework [Firebug 25 Skill]
Before it's rework, Inferno was barely noticeable as a skill and often never was chosen due to how weak it was. The rework now spreads fire damage over time to all surrounding Zeds making this skill quite powerful in the early waves and on small maps such as Miasma. While it's not seen as well in the video, Inferno can clear trash just as efficiently in tight spaces then Pyromaniac can. With the right weapons and the position, it can be a devastating combo for all trash spread around the map. The only risks whist using this skill is lack of utility in zed time and the stress of potentially raging large zeds.
