Colonoscopy refers to a procedure where a doctor inserts a flexible tube with a camera at the tip, into the colon via your anal canal through your rectum. This will enable the doctor to visualise and examine the large intestine through the camera, for any abnormal growths.

This is an educational video to prepare you for your upcoming colonoscopy at the National University Hospital (NUH) (Singapore). You will be guided on bowel preparation, diet preparation and what to expect on the day of your colonoscopy.
