I went to BrickWorld Chicago this year and went to the LEGO store on the Friday before the convention opened to the public. This is what I got between one large PAB box and one BAM box. There was no GWP, so I got just one of each…. I just couldn’t go and NOT get something. For the BAM box I tried to get all parts that are exclusive to the BAM station. For the PAB box, I got parts to create MOCs and continue to build my LEGO city. I have no intention of selling any of these parts, but I did calculate their value out of curiosity; the PAB box which cost around $18, would in my store, sell for $34.46. I didn’t calculate the value of the BAM. Most of the value is in the 1x10 medium grey bricks. I got the blue, highlighter yellow, and pink bricks, mostly just because I don’t have those elements somehow. I needed up getting far more of the transparent headlight bricks than I realized. Getting the big transparent panels is nice because I could specifically pick out ones that were not scratched or damaged. Overall, I think my favorite elements within this buy would be the grey 1x10s and the printed tiles… makes sense since those are what I bought the most of. Now I need to either use them or get them put away!
