Honky Tonk Piano (Capitol Records - 1950) - Lou Busch, Ray Turner, Marvin Ash

Описание к видео Honky Tonk Piano (Capitol Records - 1950) - Lou Busch, Ray Turner, Marvin Ash

A pitch-corrected version of the first all-Ragtime Long Playing Record, Honky-Tonk Piano, Capitol Records T-188. Details can be found within the video. Note that the non-pitch/tempo-corrected versions of the Ray Turner cuts can be found on a different related video on this channel, but has been excluded from here to provide a more natural flow reflecting his actual performances. Even tracks by Lou Busch and Marvin Ash were slightly accelerated, and they have also been pitch-corrected.

This was a product of Capitol records restored from both discs and some master tape digital copies sent to me. As nearly all these tracks are no longer available, this is being presented as a historical document that helped to promote what became the first ragtime revival of the 1950s. More can be found in my book on this topic, Honky-Tonk Piano, at Amazon.com.
