Hey guys, back with another WORLD RECORD speedrun!

Hitting that GDI base hard from the outset looks like cake, eh? Well, actually, it's an RNG rage-inducing experience....

The tactic is to take out the GDI bases' power at the right time. You need to:

1) Wait until GDI places a structure (unknown) AND for the GDI units to - or perhaps start to - leave the base.
2) Misdirect the Sonic Emmiter and take out the power with the Saboteurs.
3) Move units in with the Flame Tanks at the back (this stops the Orca's from firing on them)
4) Take out the next power plant first, before the other structures (excluding base denses of course)
5) Micro so that your Flame Tanks can destroy most of the GDI base, level up, and escape. (Notice that the airfield generates A LOT of XP.)
6) Keep the Tiberium weapon truck from being damaged ALL of the way through the Nod base. (Note that there are GDI units all over the map, including the base.)

You must also do all of this before GDI starts pumping out armor from the war factory. Soon after they will produce Mammoth Tanks and Juggernaughts.

The issue is that sometimes GDI doesn't lose power, so you have to misdirect the Sonic Emitter twice, or that the troops don't leave the base and overwhelm your intial forces. This tends to happen quite a lot. In addition, sometimes the base defenses and GDI forces will attack the truck so that you fail the Seconday Objective! This also happens a lot.

After that, it's fairly straight forward. Just move your stealthed Flame Tank from the GDI base to the North, whilst avoiding the incoming bombs, and then simply bait the troops from the North base out of the way so it can do its job. Then simply crush the Southern base with your army of Avatars!

I hope you enjoyed the video. I am now working on some Nod speedruns as I've exhausted all but one of my GDI goals. Nod missions are far more challenging and the current records have been very heavily optimised, so we'll see what's left to accomplish...
