Once an Indian soldier was asked in the interview of National Defense Academy i.e. NDA exam, why do you want to join NDA? So that soldier replied, "I want to win the Param Vir Chakra!" After the selection, when that soldier was posted in Jammu and Kashmir, he was sent to win the post in the Kargil war. That soldier knew that above The Pakistani army would fire bullets at him, but still the soldier kept moving forward, chanting the name of Mother India. By the time he reached the post, he was hit by many bullets and was injured, but that brave soldier of Mother India accepted the post only after winning it! Even when he was breathing heavily due to the bullets, the only word on his tongue was "Don't leave"! Guys, the name of that brave soldier is Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey! Who had joined the Army at the age of 22 saying that he wanted to win the Paramvir Chakra, and after his martyrdom, he was posthumously honored with the Paramvir Chakra. Salute to such brave martyrs!
