Directions:

3 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tarter
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter soften at room temp
1 cup sugar (you can also use 1 and 1/2 cup of sugar and skip the brown sugar)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs room temp
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

(FOR THE CINNAMON SUGAR COATING)
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
colored sugar dust (optional)

in a medium bowl combine/whisk flour, cream of tarter, baking soda salt, and cinnamon (set aside)

in a large bowl cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy

mix in eggs one at a time follow by vanilla

fold dry mix into wet mix a little bit at a time until combine (don't over mix...fold in)

-cover and place in the fridge for 15 to 20 minutes

while your dough is resting in the fridge preheat oven to 350 and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and mix up cinnamon/sugar coating in a small bowl

-once cookie dough is removed roll each cookie by 2 tablespoons then coat in cinnamon/sugar mixture and place on cookie sheet 6 to 9 at a time depending how big the cookie sheet is

bake in oven 13 to 14 minutes for 2 tablespoons and 8 to 10 minutes for 1 tablespoons (ovens vary)

once done place on cooling rack or another cookie sheet

(MAKES 24 TWO TABLESPOON COOKIES AND 45 TO 48 ONE TABLESPOON COOKIES)
