গুম হওয়া মানুষের তালিকা দীর্ঘ। কারো সন্তান, কারো বাবা আবার কারো স্বামী। বেশিরভাগই গত আওয়ামী সরকারের রোষানলের শিকার। আইন ও সালিশ কেন্দ্রের প্রতিবেদন বলছে, গত ১৭ বছরে সারাদেশে অপহৃত হয়েছে ৬শ' ২৯ জন। তাদের কেউ কেউ ফিরে এলেও আজও নিখোঁজ অনেকে। স্বজনদের দাবি, গুমবিরোধী কনভেনশন আর তদন্ত কমিটির মাধ্যমে ন্যায়বিচার নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। সেই সঙ্গে দায়ীদের দ্রুত আইনের আওতায় আনারও দাবি তাদের।

The list of missing people is long. Someone's child, someone's father and someone's husband. Most of them are victims of the last Awami government's tyranny. According to the report of Law and Arbitration Center, 629 people have been abducted across the country in the last 17 years. Some of them have returned but many are still missing. Relatives demand that justice be ensured through the Anti-Disappearance Convention and the Commission of Inquiry. Along with that, they also demand to quickly bring those responsible under the law.
