Full day of Cooking, Yoga and Working! | This Is What My Day Looks Like! #anitabokepalli
🌞 Morning Routine:
Good morning! It’s 5 AM, and my day starts with a glass of water in which jeera and saunf have been soaked overnight, great for its cooling and cleansing properties. I then ease into my morning by sitting on my balcony, enjoying the calm before the day starts.
🧘 Yoga Time:
By 6 AM, I’m on my yoga mat, ready to lead today's session in our 30-day Surya Namaskar Challenge. It's Day 20, and the energy is electric! We warm up, practice the poses, and I guide everyone through the correct postures. Finishing with Yoga Nidra, I feel awakened and refreshed, fully prepared for the day ahead.
🕉️ Meditation:
Post-yoga, at 7 AM, it's time for my meditation practice. I perform Sudarshan Kriya, a routine I've diligently followed since October 2022. This practice is my daily sustenance, providing clarity and energy. I lead a group online, which not only keeps me motivated but also ensures I never skip a day.
🍳 Breakfast:
Around 8:30 AM, after some quiet time and no social media, I whip up a healthy breakfast of ragi dosa with lauki chutney. I also prepare a refreshing buttermilk drink mixed with curds, tulsi leaves, mint, ginger, salt, and jeera powder. I start with soaked dry fruits and pumpkin seeds, followed by the main meal.
📅 Work Begins:
By 9:30 AM, I'm ready to tackle my workday. I prioritize my tasks, giving them a numbered priority to ensure efficiency. I alternate between work and home chores, setting a 30-minute timer to keep on track without overextending on any one task.
👗 Fashion Interlude:
By noon, after a productive morning, I show off my work-from-home outfit from Go Colours, perfect for a comfortable yet stylish day indoors. It’s functional for my active lifestyle, especially when I switch between roles at home.
🍲 Lunchtime:
For lunch at 1:30 PM, we have a hearty meal of tomato Pappu and Bharwa bhindi, paired with nutrient-rich red rice. I ensure to bless the food and appreciate all hands that brought it to our table, making mealtime a grateful and joyful occasion.
🧘♀️ Afternoon Slump & Recovery:
Around 4 PM, I combat the afternoon energy dip with Yoga Nidra, which revitalizes me completely, readying me for the rest of the day’s tasks.
🥛 Evening Snack:
I opt for a glass of A2 milk, and yes, I sneak in some dark chocolate to satisfy my sweet tooth — a perfect pick-me-up!
🏋️♀️ Gym Time:
By 6:30 PM, I'm wrapping up work and heading to the gym. I love mixing yoga with functional training, HIIT, kickboxing, and weight training. Both disciplines bring unique benefits that I cherish.
🍽️ Dinner:
Dinner is an experimental success with paneer cheela wraps, loaded with homemade paneer and vibrant veggies. Served with mint chutney, it's a hit with Nikhil and me!
🌜 Evening Wind Down:
After dinner, Nikhil and I spend quality time catching up on our day, relaxing before we head to bed around 10:30 PM.
