I-Witness: ‘Walang COVID sa Caoayan', dokumentaryo ni Atom Araullo | Full episode

Aired (December 18, 2021): Sa kabundukan ng Capas, Tarlac, pangangaso ang isa sa mga paraan ng mga Ayta Mag-antsi para makahanap ng pagkain. Mga ibon tulad ng kukulok ang paborito nilang hulihin dahil nagbibigay raw ito ng lakas at sustansya sa kanila, lalo na ngayong may kumakalat na sakit sa kapatagan.

Ang mga ibon na nasa video ay species of least concern o hindi endangered ayon sa International Union for Conservation of Nature. Ayon din sa R.A. 9147, pinahihintulutan ang mga katutubo na mangaso hangga’t para sa personal consumption o pagkain.

Hindi iminumungkahi ng programa ang panghuhuli ng mga ibon o anumang hayop sa kagubatan.
