Astro smorgasbord: live observing ft. two Seestar S50s, telescope lawsuit, & more (12/16/2024)

Tonight is an astronomical smorgasbord. It may be clear at least at the start of the night. If so, we will be doing some live observing. I will be running one of the Seestars in equatorial mode, and the other in AltAz. We will look at some recent astronomical images.

And perhaps some more experiments with Seestar's noise reduction

If it's clear, we will be imaging some nebulas, galaxies, and maybe some other objects. (I'm going to try a few I haven't tried before.). I will be showing off some of the latest features in the Seestar Alp project as well.

We'll also talk general astronomy, and whatever other topics come up.
