[Traditional Korean Performance Story Ep.13 춘앵무 (Chunaengmu)]

Chunaengmu(춘앵무), Black Mat Oriole, is a type of royal dance created in Joseon Dynasty.
During the reign of King Sunjo in Joseon Dynasty (1800-1834), Crown Prince Hyomyeong created Chunaengmu to celebrate his mother's 40th birthday. It illustrates the nightingales singing on the branch of willow tree in the morning of spring. Chunaengmu is praised for its splendid and elegant beauty.

The performance is presented by Lee Yoon-jeong(이윤정), a member of Artists of KCHF.
