Nirvana (1997): Movie Review

Описание к видео Nirvana (1997): Movie Review

In this Italian cyberpunk tale, video game designer Jimi is working to have his latest project, Nirvana, ready for his superiors at Okasama Starr. He hits a snag when a computer virus causes the game’s protagonist, Solo, to gain sentience. Terrified at learning the truth of his existence, Solo makes contact with Jimi and begs his creator to erase him. Jimi is going through an existential crisis of his own, his girlfriend Lisa having left him recently. Sympathizing with Solo’s plight, Jimi agrees to aid him, but he needs to get into Starr’s mainframe to do so. With the aid of mechanically modified hackers Joystick and Naima, Jimi sets out to help his creation. In doing so, he also hopes to understand what went wrong in his own life.
