Today we finally review the 50+ year old watch I unboxed a couple of weeks ago!
To make things more interesting, we'll compare it to it's brother and rival from the other Seiko factory, Daini, to see how they are similar and what sets them apart! Both pieces are powered by their own factories first automatic movements, Daini Sportsmatic by the caliber 820 and Suwa Selfdater powered by caliber 394, that will later evolve to power the first Automatic Grand Seiko, the 62GS!
Both watches are classical in styling but still very Seiko showing once more that the 60's and 70's were truly the golden era of Seiko design!
