Transforming the SV650 with a Penske Shock

I take you step by step through the process of swapping out a shock on a second generation SV650 track bike. For all the details, see my writeup at https://ulteriormoto.com/blogs/how-to... Years ago I had upgraded from the stock SV shock to a 2004 GSX-R 1000 shock. While that was great and all, it still didn't have the ideal geometry or adjustability of a top quality shock. On top of that, it was already 20 years old and for $80 more than the cost to rebuild it I could get myself a pristine Penske 8981. Follow along as I make huge improvements to the bike in a single afternoon.
