Custom Intake Bay For Farm Pond | How We Build It

BUILDING AN INTAKE BAY ON A FARM POND
In this video, John G Adams and the team at Modern Design Aquascaping Inc. take an in-depth look as they install an intake bay on a farm pond. AN INTAKE BAY is bacically a large skimmer that gathers the surface debris from a pond into an area where it can be easily accessed for removal, preventing it from sinking to the bottom of the pond. You will see what the team does, step by step, as they mix educational commentary and time lapse video to show you what goes into this large scale water feature project. This intake bay video is the first part of a two part project and our next video will be part two, which is the building of the wetland filter and the waterfall that returns the water into the pond.
