Dr. Oliver Shipley, Our Senior Research Scientist

Introducing a very special addition to our team! Dr. Oliver Shipley, our new Senior Research Scientist here at @btwaves.

Ollie is wrapping up an incredible expedition as we speak - the details of which will be released very soon. It’s currently top secret stuff but trust us, it’s a big one.

He brings many years of experience to our organization and we couldn’t be happier to have him aboard. Ollie has worked extensively in The Bahamas, primarily focusing on the movement and feeding dynamics of marine predators.

Dr. Austin Gallagher said, “Dr. Shipley is highly respected, and knows so much about this ecosystem. To have him join us full-time now as we work to use science to mitigate the effects of climate change and restore native populations of species, will be a great benefit to our ongoing programs and ambitious goals for impact in The Commonwealth and beyond, particularly as we see a growing importance placed on marine science globally.”
