This is the tragic and short story of Rhaegar Targaryen and his wife Elia Martell. At first Raeghar was promised to Cersei Lannister the daughter of Tywin Lannister but The Mad King was jealous of the Hand of the King, Tywin and doubt about his intention, that will have consequence at the end of the story. So Aerys II Targaryen married his son, the Prince Rhaegar to the Princess of Dorne, Elia Martell. She is descripted by his brother Oberyn Martell, he said about her that she is not the most beautiful women in the world or even in Dorne but she was kind and clever like his husband Rhaegar who was descriped like a good man, kind and love singing. They married together and make two children, Rhaenys Targaryen and Aegon Targaryen. Both pregnancies were very difficult, and each nearly killed Elia. During the Sack of King’s Landing she was killed by The montain in the orders of Tywin Lannister who betrayed the House Targaryen.

For me Rhaegar and Elia loved each other, there no reason for Rhaegar to not love Elia, they had kinda the same personnality. I think Rhaegar loved Elia and care about her. The Last Dragon loved to read, once he read a book about the Prince that was Promised, at first he thinks that it was him, he change his mind and think about his children. When Elia give birth to his second child, he said that his name will be Aegon and he is The Prince who is Promised and he also talk about a dragon of three heads. That refered to the prophecy and that will must be one more child. But the maesters warned that Elia would not survive an attempt to have a third child. After that Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna and the Robert’s Rebellion started and the extinct of the Targaryen too.

Well as, the Dornien were very open about polygamy, I think the reaction of Elia at the tourney was not that bad and Targaryen too were very open with polygamy, there are many bastard in the Targaryen history. And there the prophecy who Rhaegar was (I think) obsessed with.

At this view the story is much less romantic. And Deepika Padukone is very BEAUTIFUL.
