This video was filmed at Pigeon Point, an area along the California Coast notorious for shipwrecks. (Hence the lighthouse). The song, Melusina, first appeared on Sharon's "Portals" album, and features SJ Tucker and Sonja Drakulich as guest vocalists. It was written by Sharon Knight and her longtime collaborator, Winter.

It is loosely based on the French myth of the Melusine; half woman, half creature, Melusina knows the melancholy of living between two worlds.

This is the first of many videos planned as part of Sharon's upcoming "Undertow" project; a collection of videos, songs, art, and stories to lure people into a love affair with our beautiful ocean. This project will be tied to conservation efforts as it develops.
