大願地藏王菩薩的故事 | 佛教四大菩薩 | The story of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva |Ven. Master Miao Yin |大悲菩提寺妙音法師|菩薩因地發願因緣

地藏菩薩亦稱地藏王菩薩。在《地藏菩薩本願經》上卷、《地藏十輪經》等，皆提及有地藏菩薩。此地藏菩薩曾在忉利天大會的眾生面前，受釋尊的咐囑，在釋尊入滅後至彌勒菩薩成佛之前的娑婆世界擔任導師。依《地藏十輪經》第一卷：「安忍不動，猶如大地，靜慮深密，猶如密藏」，而名地藏。處事堅毅不拔的態度，好比大地，以果敢的決斷力救濟三界六道的一切眾生，地獄不空，自己決不成佛的菩薩。《地藏菩薩本願經》中解說地藏菩薩過去生中，曾為婆羅門女、光目女、小國國王等身，因發弘大誓願，經無數阿僧祇劫修持，履行祂的誓願，得到釋迦如來讚揚也得到十方諸佛之稱嘆其願力不可思議。

大悲菩提寺是位於加拿大多倫多北部一處幽靜森林中的佛寺，十年來大悲菩提寺深耕於西方社會之成人佛法教育及青少年禪修教育。但近三年來因為COVID19疫情關係，寺院暫停對外開放，雖然資源及捐款減少，即使經歷諸多艱辛，仍堅持初心『弘揚佛法在西方的初願』。

The GREAT COMPASSION BODHI PRAJNA TEMPLE, located in a peaceful hidden forest just north of Toronto, Ontario, has been strongly devoted to providing both adult Buddhism education and youth mediation education in the western society for the past ten years.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic during the past three years, the temple has temporarily been closed to the public.
Although we are facing difficulties from the reduced support of resources and donations, despite the many obstacles, we still keep our faith in our original endeavor to “Promote and Spread Out Buddhism in the West.”
Master Miao Jing realized that the Dharma Education could not be interrupted, she immediately initiated a series of Dharma Education Films through YouTube channel at the beginning of the pandemic. However, this project requires many efforts and resources to succeed, including the purchasing of expensive production equipment, and the countless effort put forth by volunteers on video production.
