The Chris Craft Calypso 24 CM is a modern take on the famous Chris Craft boats of the 60’s. Chris Craft has been in business since 1874, so they know a thing or two about boat building!! This example was on display at the Daytona Beach Boat Show earlier this year, and including trailer, was offered for sale for $219,574.

This boat measures 25’2 overall, with a beam of 8’6, a dry weight of just under 6,000 lbs including the engine, and with a 21-degree deadrise. For extra time on the water, the boat has 117-gallon fuel capacity. I particularly like how this one is very much a multi-purpose boat whether you want to go cruising, fishing, or diving.

For cruising, you have very comfortable seating for 11 onboard, as well as a fully enclosed heads compartment. There is a cooler stored in the aft cockpit under the outdoor wet bar for keeping drinks and refreshments close at hand.

For watersports, there is a retractable ski pole on the transom. You have boarding ladder under the bathing platform, and a shower mounted next to the transom door for rinsing off before stepping inside.

For those looking for fishing, you not only have rod holders on the transom and surrounding the aft cockpit, but you also have a live well on the port quarter.
