Today's BAAM.Tip provides an overview of Mission Planning with RiParameter. Dive into the basic workflow that translates into mission planning for UAS, Aerial, Mobile and Terrestrial Lidar missions. Let's get into it!

1. Select scanner type from the dropdown menu
2. Select the Project Type (Interactive, Wide Area Mapping, Corridor Mapping, and Payload)
3. Ensure Min. Reflectance value is appropriate given the terrain to be flown
4. Enter additional Scanner Settings and Flight Parameter settings
5. Click the blue Start Calculations button and view the resultant parameters
6. In the resultant parameters, view the Swath Width, Point Density, and Max. Meas. Range to meet acquisition specifications
7. Results can then be exported to PDF, TXT or INI to continue with flight planning

Pro Tip: Hovering over the setting text will show a description in the information bar at the bottom of the window.

Pro Tip: Consider flying altitude, FOV, PRR, and Point Density as to their constraint on the flight parameters
