Who knew owning a CD player from 2001 would be such a joy??

In this video, I do a deep dive on this AIWA XR-X7 CD Micro system I found at Goodwill for just $12. I explain how I came across this funky device, how it works, why I even bought a CD player in 2023, and a little bit of history behind the AIWA company.

I’ve always been a big music fan, so when I decided I wanted to start collecting physical music, I figured CDs would be the best format for my to go with. I found this CD player one day while out thrifting and figured it was so cool looking that I would give it a shot… and to my surprise it’s been such a joy to own.

To even more of my surprise though was how many other people thought it was as cool as I did. I posted a short video about it on TikTok and so many people were interested in it! You can see the original video here:
