The phrase "Ḥarīṣun ʿAlaykum" (حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُمْ) appears in Surah At-Tawbah (9:128) of the Holy Qur’an, where Allah describes the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as:

لَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُم بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ

"Indeed, there has come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; he is deeply concerned for you (Ḥarīṣun ʿAlaykum), and to the believers, he is kind and merciful."
