The Joie Mytrax VS Joie Litetrax 4 Travel System: from a distance, these two-look similar in design & features but up close, there are some noticeable differences.

Let’s start with the infant car seats:

The joie i-gemm of the mytrax stroller is i-size compliant and TUV aircraft approved. The joie gemm of the litetrax 4 stroller is not i-size but it is also aircraft approved.
The joie i-gemm has an adjustable head piece (great for taller babies) and expandable sun canopy with full ventilation (no need for a stretch cover). The joie gemm does not have any of these features.

To clip the joie i-gemm into the mytrax, you need to swap your front bar with adapters whereas the joie gemm can simply be placed on top of the front bar of the joie litetrax 4 ad it will click into position.

Either way, this was easy for both.

The seat unit of the joie mytrax is 94cm in length and the material cover is machine washable and can be zipped off. The seat unit of the joie litetrax 4 is shorter at 82cm in length and the material cover is only wipeable.

Fun fact: the seat unit can be zipped off on the joie mytrax which transforms the appearance of the stroller and will allow for an even more compact fold.

The handlebar of the joie mytrax is adjustable whereas it’s fixed on the joie litetrax 4. A height adjustable handlebar will be important for a taller person.

The shopping basket of the joie mytrax takes a maximum weight of 6kg and the joie litetrax 4 can take 4.5kg.

The joie mytrax stroller has all terrain wheels with suspension which is great for exploring the outdoors and going off road. The joie litetrax 4 stroller has EVA foam coated wheels with no suspension which means it will be a smoother ride for indoors or outdoor walks in the road at best.

The joie litetrax 4 however comes with 2 cup holders and a small storage compartment which is super convenient.

Both strollers are self-standing which is a must! No more bending over or picking up dirty strollers from the ground! Both strollers also have expandable sun canopies with full ventilation.

It’s super easy to fold open or close both strollers as they are popular for their one-hand folding mechanism. We absolutely love this in case it’s not obvious!

Either way, you can’t go wrong with either of these practical and stylish options from Joie.

The joie mytrax will be a great option for the person that loves the outdoors but that don’t plan on going running, and who need something suitable for everyday use too.

The joie litetrax 4 is perfect on the other hand, for the person looking for a compact but strong stroller for everyday use and the occasional walk in the neighborhood.
